Nursery 2024 - 2025

Mrs Pearson

Teaching Assistants: Mrs Stockdale & Miss Jones (Fledglings: Threes & Fours)

Owls Class (Nursery).

Welcome back! We hope you have all enjoyed the sunshine over the summer holiday and are excited to be back. It has been lovely to see the children's smiles each morning since we returned earlier this week. We are delighted to see how well the children have settled back into nursery's routines and we are looking forward to welcoming some new friends into nursery soon.

This half-term Autumn 1, learning will initially focus on settling new children into nursery and re-establishing our routines with the children who are returning. Later the Twos group will explore their senses to find out all about 'Wonderful Me!' and the Threes & Fours group will follow the Talk for Writing approach to explore the story 'Little Red Hen'.

Nursery uses the Development Matters document as guidance for 'assessment of' and 'planning for' the children's progress. You can find out more about this by following this link:  Development Matters 2021
